Drafting

Drafting is a form of technical communication between Haas DesignWorks and its collaborators. Haas DesignWorks provides specific, measure, and detailed drawings. Haas DesignWorks takes great pride in its accuracy and capability to easily convey complicated and intricate designs. However, when being constructed, they are not only drawings. Drafting is an art.

Accuracy

The primary goal of these technical drawings are to convey the dimensions of a design. At Haas DesignWorks, drafting provides more than that. The design is digitally constructed to consider the builders perspective and ensure that common techniques and practices are used. Construction methodology as well as material composition, dimensions, accurate scaling to ensure proportionality, provide a common language between Haas DesignWorks and its collaborators.

Modern

Drafting is almost exclusively digital. At Haas DesignWorks, the most current software is used. As well as it being current, it is common among builders, designers, and civil engineers. This commonality allows for easily sharing document as well as a common language.

Science

Drafting provides a space for a designer to equate their drawing to the practical application of construction. Instead of lines, walls are being built, money is being spent, and time is being used. Drafting provides the practical look into the design process to see if it is truly effective and worth constructing.
